Our rabbit, Cookie, passed away last week. It was sudden, despite her relatively old age of ten years.
I’d intended to post a longer write-up about her today, sharing stories and a few photos. A bit of a dedication. But I’m still having trouble putting words together when it comes to the loss of her. I’ve struggled just getting this far.
Instead, I’m just going to share one photo. This one’s about a year old now, but it’s one of my favourites of her. I felt when I took it, and I feel today, that it brings across her attitude better than any of the others I have of her.
I miss her, and I’ll continue to miss her. But at least I can look back on photos like this one.
