About

Miranda Burski, writer and photographer

I’m a writer and a reader, so words are a very important part of my life. I love bringing them together to create a story, and I love seeing how other writers do the same.

It was my love of reading that led me to writing. I started with short stories and poems when I was young, but novels have become my biggest passion. My novels aren’t published yet, but it’s something that I’m working on. In the meantime I’ve developed my skills by continuing to write short stories and novels—mostly adult urban fantasy or horror—as well as through my membership in the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild.

My interest in photography began in university, but it was in the early 2010s that I made it more of a hobby, and the late 2010s that I began selling prints. Most of the photos I take are macro and the occasional landscape shots, but I dabble in other types, as well. You can find my pictures by browsing the Photography category in my blog section or checking out my Print Shop.

Finally, thank you for taking the time to check out my website. If you’d like to contact me or hear more from me, feel free to find me on Facebook (mlburski) Twitter (@MirandaB016), Goodreads (MirandaB), Instagram (miranda016) or ViewBug (MirandaB016). You can also email me at mburski@gmail.com.
