I’m not entirely why this photo makes me think “French.” Maybe it’s something in the colours, or the composition. Or maybe it’s just my frame of mind today, and tomorrow I’ll wonder what on Earth I was thinking.

I suppose it doesn’t really matter, though. All that matters is how much I like this photo.

And I do—I really do. I’m happy with how I managed to frame this one, and the focus landed exactly where I wanted it to. True, I would have liked the petals to come out just a little bit sharper, but all in all I think it’s a pretty good photo.
