Did you know it’s getting harder to figure out how to introduce my photo challenge pictures? This one, for example. There isn’t much of a story behind it. So when it came time to write this post, I felt stuck.
I could have just started with “Last week’s 52Frames challenge was to shoot from above.” Or maybe “I had a hard time figuring out what to shoot for last week’s 52Frames challenge.” Both would be accurate, but aren’t exactly creative. And I’m fairly certain I’ve used something similar to each already.
So, here we are. You get the intro above, and I get to tell you that I tried about four different photo subjects before landing on these coffee beans.
And I’m actually quite happy with how the picture turned out. True, I could have changed up the aperture so that more of the beans were in focus, but I think that’s the only thing I’d change. Outside of that, I’m happy with the colours, the exposure, and the composition.
I may have had trouble figuring out a photo subject and coming up with this post, but it was worth it for this photo.
