Our weather has taken a bit of a turn this weekend. We had a whole lot of sun and heat the last couple of weeks, and then this past weekend there’s been a whole lot of rain.
Though, to be honest, I’m not exactly complaining. I like rain; it has this calming sort of presence, all the way from its sound to its smell. Even a full-on thunderstorm is nice once in a while.
But my favourite part of a rainfall is what it does to the plants. Not only do I not have to water mine if it rains enough, but I can also get some really nice pictures if the timing is just right. And on Saturday, the timing worked out just perfectly.
