It’s taken a long time, but I finally—FINALLY—have a couple of tomatoes showing up on my tomato plant. They’re little yet, but they’re actually growing pretty quickly. It shouldn’t be too much longer before one of them fits in the palm of my hand.
I also found out what the odd looking buds on my squash plants were. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen them in one of my stories a couple of weeks back; I wasn’t sure if they were going to turn out to be flowers or squash.
As it turns out, they’re growing into some rather large flowers. They look a lot like zucchini flowers, which probably shouldn’t be much of a surprise, though they are a deeper yellow. They’re just as pretty, though, and hopefully the squash that grows will be just as good.
