Lilac in the orchid

This past week didn’t go at all the way I planned it. Lots went wrong, including my weekly photo challenge.

My colour, as you probably guessed from the title of this post, was lilac. I figured that would be fairly easy for me; purple is one of my favourite colours, so there are a lot of purple items in my little condo.

But, as my week progressed, I found I didn’t have a whole lot of time to track things down. So when Friday evening rolled around… I scrambled for something to take a picture of. And I landed on an old fallback.

I can’t decided how I feel about taking a lilac-themed picture of a flower that isn’t a lilac. Somehow, though, it fits the theme of this past week, so I’m just running with it.
