Blooms

I’ve dropped off on taking photos recently. I can’t pinpoint when it happened, or why. Just that it did.

I miss it, and I didn’t realize how much until I did my little photoshoot while making lemon muffins a while back.

And so here I am with another. The photos that came out of it are nothing out of the ordinary for me. If you’ve followed along with my blog for any amount of time, or taken a look at my Print Shop, you’ll have noticed my love for photographing flowers.

That “nothing new” aspect is part of why I wanted to photograph them, true. But it wasn’t the only one. They were a gift from a friend, to commemorate a sad anniversary. I was touched, and wanted to do something to mark that, as well as the memorial.

This was the best way I knew how.
