Yesterday’s apple photo wasn’t the only one I shot as part of last week’s 52Frames challenge. It was the one I submitted, but I made a few different attempts before landing on it.
This photo, of four white canisters, was a close second. I was considering it because of the contrast between light and shadows, as well as between black and white. I thought it fell closer to what first comes to mind when people think of “extreme contrasts”.
While I do like this picture, and I’m glad I experimented a bit when I took it, I’m ultimately happy I chose to submit the apple photo. It just calls to me a little more, you know?
