Gifts of food

A bowl of green, orange and red cherry tomatoes.

Full disclaimer: I didn’t grow these tomatoes. My plants weren’t nearly this nice to me. Family friends grew them, then shared them.

That’s one of the things I like about this time of year: people sharing the fruit and vegetables they grew in their gardens. I’d share my own, if I ever managed to grow enough.

Although, I do finally have a couple of melons coming in. They’re a type I’ve never had before, and I’m not sure if I’ll actually like them. I don’t know if I’ll get very many, but it’s entirely possible I’ll be able to give something away this year.
