They’re back

I first posted about my marigolds about a month ago, and haven’t been able to post about them since. That wasn’t by choice, mind you; my poor little marigolds were attacked.

I’m pretty sure the gophers ate them while I was at work one day. I don’t think I had the chance to post about it here, but I know I had a story up about it on Instagram. I wasn’t very happy about it, and I had to vent somewhere.

Anyway, my pretty little flowers have grown back now, and are just as vibrant as ever. This picture doesn’t quite do them justice—it’s been windy lately, making it difficult to get a sharp photo—but hopefully you can get at least a small sense of how pretty they are.
