Ready for spring

Oh, spring. You could arrive any day now. Really. I’m ready for warmer days, consistent sunshine, grass, rain, flowers….

I’ll even take the slush as the snow begins to melt, and the dirt and mud that covers everything in that transition period. All of that is better than the bitter cold we’ve had the past few weeks.

It is, however, finally starting to warm up. I heard a rumour it’s even supposed to get above 0 C this weekend. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that our luck holds out and that rumour proves true.

In the meantime, I’ll make do by looking at my pretty little orchid flowers. There are still a bunch of them growing on the plant in my window sill, so at least there’s a bit of spring there.
