How does that old saying go? “Sugar and spice and everything nice?” That sounds about right–and like the perfect way to describe this Cinnamon and Honey Cream Cheese Frosting.
It’s hard to beat this one, you guys. The recipe is based off of one of the simplest frosting recipes I know, and it comes together in a snap. If you need something to top off your cake that’s quick, easy and sweet, with a small kick of spice, make this the next frosting you try.
This would go well with any subtly spiced cake or cupcake. It would also make a wonderful finishing touch for a plain vanilla cake, I think, so that may just be my next excuse to make a batch of this creamy goodness.
In particular, though, I like this one with my apple cake. I’ll share that recipe with you all later this month, but for now you can check out my Apple Pie Cupcakes; this frosting will be great on them, too, I promise.
