I know, throwback pictures are supposed to be saved for Thursdays. I’m posting this one anyway. Why? Because Saturdays are my dedicated photo days. I didn’t have this blog back when I took this picture, however, so I’ve never shared it here.
I took this one way back in 2011, when my grandma and I took a trip out to Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick. It’s easily my favourite from the trip–not counting some entertaining pictures of me, my grandma, and my grandma’s friend, but I’ll save us all the shots to our dignity by not posting them here.
Anyway, when I took this one, I was trying to capture how foggy the day was. I think that came across, though it’s possible I’m only seeing what I want to see. So what do you think? Is this a foggy Nova Scotia landscape? Or a picture that didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to, though maybe still looks kind of interesting?
Foggy day comes across beautifully. This inspires images like the setting of the opening scene in a novel, or possibly a childhood memory. Do you remember where this place is exactly?
Thank you! I believe it was on or near Cape Sable Island, but I don’t remember the exact location, unfortunately.
