Something I need a little more of

Flowers are some of my favourite things to photograph, especially if I’m able to use my macro lens. I love how the edges of their petals are both sharp and soft, and the way the sleek stem flows effortlessly into the flower’s base.

Oddly, though, I almost never buy flowers for myself, so I rarely have the chance to photograph them. These ones were a surprise from my mom. She dropped them off one afternoon a few weeks ago, brightening my day.

I really do need to buy myself flowers more often. If nothing else, they provide some beautiful pictures.
