Monthly update: March 2019

Want to know something? It really doesn’t feel like March.

I’m not just talking about the weather–which, by the way, is still hovering in harsh, make-your-face-hurt-from-the-cold area of the thermometer many days. No, I just mean in general. February passed really quickly, and I don’t quite feel like I have my bearings on the month yet.

Being sick with a cold for the last week of February didn’t help much, either. I still haven’t quite gotten over that cold, though hopefully it’ll be finished with soon.

Anyway, on to more positive things! Let’s take a look at how February went and see what’s on the horizon for March.

February’s goals

  1. Finish reading CD
  2. Find 1 free learning opportunity
  3. Edit 1 short story
  4. Find spring craft/trade shows

Taking a quick look at this list, I can already tell you that, well, I failed at it. I didn’t fully accomplish anything on it in February, though I did make progress in a couple of areas.

I read more of CD, of course, and that revision is still coming along well. I also technically did find a free learning opportunity, and I was really looking forward to going. Then I woke up with a migraine that morning, and I didn’t end up making it out of the house. I was pretty disappointed in that one.

Those last two goals, though… they didn’t go quite so great. I have no real update to give on them.

But, you know what I do have an update to provide you on? I added a new photo choice to my Print Shop! It’s one of my cupcakes, in case you need a little something sweet to add to your walls.

So, that’s it for February. Let’s take a look at March.

March’s Goals

  1. Finish reading CD
  2. Apply for at least 2 craft/trade shows
  3. Edit 1 short story
  4. Watch at least 1 webinar

Again, it’s pretty well the same as last month, just a little more specific in a couple of areas. I’m not sure how much of a difference that will actually make, but it’s nice to see some actual numbers down.

Now, how about you? What do you have planned for March?
