If you read through April’s Monthly Update, you may have seen that one of my goals for this month was to participate in some social media hashtag games/discussions. I’m happy to say that, so far, I’ve been able to keep up with one: the #Aprillitwrit tag over on Instagram.
I’ve tried taking part in other regular hashtag games in the past, but I haven’t been able to keep up with it as well as I’ve managed this time. I’m not sure why this one is so different. Maybe it’s the photo-based platform? I don’t know. I’m enjoying it regardless.
Anyway, if you haven’t taken part in a hashtag game like this one, I’d recommend that you do. It’s a great challenge–it’s been fun coming up with different photos and answers for the prompts. I’ve felt a lot more creative since I started, and I’m really looking forward to the remainder of the month.
Oh, and if you’re curious about why the Hogwarts crest is the this week’s featured photo… well, it was a picture I used for one of the prompts. You’ll have to go and check it out if you’d like to see what I said about it.
