Remember last week’s photo post, where I talked about wanting to photograph the birds chirping outside my window? Well, those birds still haven’t let me actually see them. I know they’re there, they’re singing for me, they just don’t want to be seen. Like I said, they’re shy.
When I was taking pictures of last week’s feathers, though, I also snapped a few of the decoration they were attached to. This little hummingbird sits perched in my bathroom. She’s small, no bigger than the palm of my hand, but she helps to brighten the room up just a little bit.
She also helped to make up for the birds outside refusing to come into the open. I quite like how this picture turned out. There’s something about the angle that makes it look almost, though not quite, like she might actually be in flight.
