I’ve decided to start a garden this year.
Well, sort of. I can’t actually have a garden, since I live in a condo. But I have a small patio, so I’m going to set out some big flower pots and grow a container garden.
So far, I’ve gotten as far sowing seeds. I used small, netted clumps of soil in plastic trays, and planted lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and zucchini. I plan on planting carrots, once the we’re past frost at night, and getting a hanging strawberry plant.
I’m happy (very happy) to say that my lettuce has started to sprout! I’m not very good with house plants, you see, so I had a very real worry that I wouldn’t even get this far.
It feels good to know that I was wrong.
good luck with your little garden! my hubby just planted ours this weekend. we’ve got tomatoes, cucumbers, pumpkins, watermelon and a million others that may or may not survive our brutal green thumbs. 🙂
Thank you! You’re going to have so much delicious food by the end of the growing season! And it sounds like you have the same type of green thumb I do, lol. I hope everything grows really well for you!
