A cookie tip

Hi, all! I know I don’t normally post on Thursdays, but I saw this tip (The Secret to Baking Perfectly Browned Cookies Every Time) on the Kitchn the other day, and I wanted to share it with you.

I’ll admit, I sometimes have a bit of trouble getting my cookies – the bottoms of them, anyway – to come out the shade of brown I want them to. So I found the Kitchn’s tip to be particularly helpful. Basically, they say, it comes down to what type of pan you used.

A quick excerpt: “You’ve double-checked your oven temperature. You’re using a reliable recipe. Yet your cookies are coming out too brown on the bottom, or perhaps pale and under-baked. What gives? The savvy folks at the King Arthur Flour blog may have found the problem — as well as a simple solution that ensures perfectly browned cookies every time.”
