Cover reveal: Hearts Are Like Balloons, by Candace Robinson

What kind of a book-lover can resist a novel set in a bookstore? I certainly can’t. Especially when that novel sounds as good as Candace Robinson’s Hearts Are Like Balloons.

Somehow, the novel’s summary warms my heart at the same time that it brings on a little sadness. That’s the type of combination, though, that makes me want to read the book even more. As does the cover.

Isn’t that adorable? I love everything about it–the colors, the font, the simplicity. Like the summary, it leaves me with a little extra warmth.

About the book

May Falkner’s past two years have been a rough road. When her father suddenly passes away, May needs to find a job to help out her mom and regain some control over her life. Working at the bookstore helps her heal, laugh, and hope again. It also leads her to cross paths with Nico Evitts, who begins as just a co-worker, but becomes so much more.
