I don’t have a whole lot to say yet, but I wanted to take a moment to put up a picture and short post, for my dad. He passed away November 26, making these past couple of weeks some of the roughest my family and I have faced.
That said, my dad was a strong, positive person. He always looked for the silver lining in life, even when he was going through the treatments and setbacks thrown his way over the past few years. Something he liked to say was that “the glass is always full. It doesn’t matter if it appears to be empty; even if there’s only air in it, there’s something there, so it’s full.”
Thank you, Dad, for teaching me to look at life that way. I hope I can help others to do the same.
