Do you remember when I told you about my failure to make mayonnaise back in March? I haven’t had a chance to try making it again, but I think, after finding this tip, I may have to.
Last week, The Kitchn posted a recipe for making mayonnaise using an immersion blender. It looks like a pretty good recipe, one that shouldn’t be too difficult to make. And having the option of making the mayonnaise right in a jar should eliminate the problems I was having while using bigger bowls.
So, my plan is to give this recipe a try sometime soon–hopefully next weekend. I’ll come back and let you know how it goes once I’ve tested it.
For anybody who has tried this method before–do you have any tips for me? Or do you have a method that works better?
