Wednesday links: WRiTE CLUB 2016

I love regularly reading tips and advice articles in certain subjects — particularly writing and publishing. I don’t always need the information right then, but I know that it’ll eventually come in handy. Or at least, I hope it will.

I know there are a lot of other people out there who feel the same way I do, but sometimes it can be difficult to find every useful advice article that’s out there. So I thought I’d bring you a few. Here are the tips and advice articles that jumped out at me the most over the past week.

  1. WRiTE CLUB 2016, from D.L. Hammons: Entries are now being accepted for WRiTE CLUB 2016. If you haven’t heard of this contest before, I definitely recommend you check it out. And even if you decide not to enter, it’s a lot of fun to read through and vote for your favourite entries. Excerpt: “Whether you’re serious about writing…or you just like to dabble from time to time…it’s time to tighten those laces and put up you dukes — WRiTE CLUB is back! This is the sixth year of the ‘little contest that could’ and I’m happy to announce that we are continuing our association with the DFW Writers Conference.”
