Hi! Last week was an interesting one, to say the least. Work was surprisingly busy, and I ended up not feeling well starting about halfway through. But I also got my butt back in gear for C&C revisions, and spent all day Saturday at a craft sale in a town a couple hours away. Oh, and today’s my birthday.
So, yes, it was an interesting week. To finish it off, let’s compare my goals for the week with what I actually accomplished.
Last week’s goals:
- Revise at least 10 printed pages of C&C.
- Revise at least 5 chapters of V&L.
- Continue planning my NaNoWriMo novel.
- Start on a new Recipe Review post.
Here’s some straight-up honesty: once again, I didn’t accomplish all of my goals. But I did manage to do a little better this week.
To start, I revised three chapters of L&L, and did a bit of planning for NaNoWriMo. I had hoped to do more of that planning, but didn’t quite make it.
I also got six pages’ worth of C&C revised. I got a bit stuck on a scene that needs a pretty major rewrite, though. So getting that scene taken care of is going onto this week’s list of goals.
I didn’t, however, get anything done in regards to a new Recipe Review post. The whole not-feeling-well issue threw that off track a bit. But, I have the things I need to try a new recipe today or tomorrow, so I should have that taken care of soon.
Now, let’s take a look at this week’s goals:
- Rewrite the problem scene in C&C.
- Revise 5 chapters of V&L.
- Start on the new Recipe Review post.
Those should keep me busy for the week, don’t you think?
