Cover reveal: Nocturnal Meetings of the Misplaced, by R.J. Garcia

What is it about teenagers solving a murder that makes me want to read a novel? I was a fan of Nancy Drew growing up, and I’m still drawn to that same type of story. Especially if it involves a cold case.

Like R.J. Garcia’s Nocturnal Meetings of the Misplaced: Misfit teenagers attempting to solve a case that may just get them killed? Um, yes, please–I definitely want to read this one. Add in the cover I’m helping to reveal today, and I’m entirely hooked.

Seriously, you’re going to want to take a look at it. And then you’re going to want to grab a copy of the book as soon as you can.

Ready?

Nocturnal Meetings of the Misplaced, by R.J. Garcia

I can’t fully describe it, but something about that skull over the kid’s face just draws me in. It’s creepy and enticing all at once.

About the book

Mystery surrounds the town of Summertime, Indiana, where fifteen-year-old Tommy Walker and his little sister are sent to live with relatives they’ve never met. Tommy soon makes friends with his rebellious neighbor, Finn Wilds.

Finn invites Tommy to late night meetings in the woods, where Tommy gets to know two girls. He forms a special and unique connection with both girls. The meetings become a place where the kids, who don’t fit in at school, or home can finally belong.  As the group of friends begin to unravel clues to a cold case murder and kidnapping— they learn the truth is darker and closer than they ever imagined. Even if they live to tell, will anyone believe them?
